On the show, we plugged my new record "Greenlight Girl" and the album release party which is scheduled for June 25th at "Opera" in Hollywood! Sepulveda VA Medical Center (Tribute to War Veterans Celebration)
11am-6pm
This show was to pay homage and give tribute to all our American troops who fought (and are still fighting) in Iraq and Afghanistan. I sang "God Bless the U.S.A" and an original song called "Addicted" composed by a great friend of mine (who's also a super talented artist) named Dilini Ranaweera.
Like I said during my performance, it was an honor to perform my music, and be there to entertain on behalf of the troops. But the truth is, we wouldn't have been there, enjoying the luxury of listening to song if not for them fighting for us, and ensuring our freedom to do so! Thanks to the troops!
